Amanda wanted fashion shots with a difference. I suggested the Middle Head fortifications and going for a variety of styles and a variety of lighting situations. She agreed and we went ahead with the shoot.
I used locations in the fortifications that I hadn't used before. I also used the Nikon 135mm f/2 DC lens at the start to gain more practice with it. Some say this lens is noted for it's front focus but I haven't found any evidence for that. The rear defocus control for this lens is best for head shots and chest/headshots. It is not that good for full body portraits.
